The Objects of the Association

Working in partnership with the people of Timor Leste to support and strengthen local communities. All of Timor Leste Vision’s operations are designed in accordance with the following Guiding Principles:

Cultural Awareness: To ensure all projects are respectful, relevant and developed in consultation with local communities.

Sustainability: To ensure all projects undertaken are sustainable and ongoing; and those commitments are fulfilled by all parties.

Ethical Practice: To ensure all activities are undertaken in a spirit of fairness and impartiality.

Accountability: To ensure Timor Leste Vision exercises professionalism, transparency and open communication with all stakeholders.

Capacity Strengthening: To ensure all projects are designed to empower and develop capacity in local communities.

Co-Investment: To ensure all activities are undertaken in partnership, with genuine contributions made by all parties, to create joint ownership of projects.
